Marcia Harvey
Marcia Harvey, an African-American
author, is better known for her ex-wife, comedian and TV host Steve Harvey. She
chose to keep her private life a secret and out of the spotlight. While Steve
had not yet reached anywhere close to the success he enjoys now They were
married for 14 years. It is unknown what caused the split, although Hollywood
has heard of rumors about it. Some believe it was Steve Harvey's shady ways,
while others attribute it as a result of his choice to pursue comedy as a
career. The tragedy of her story is attributed to the incident that Steve left
her and his two daughters, when she was expecting their third child. Despite
her struggles, she managed to build an impressive career in writer and fashion

department store called "Saks Fifth Avenue'. Steve met her at a friend's

employed as an insurance salesman that moment and the couple was blessed with
twin girls in 1982. Steve was unhappy with his job and wanted to make a go of
it as an entertainer, specifically stand-up comedy. Marcia and Steve
experienced a lot conflict and reports later suggested that they were starting
to break up. Marcia Harvey's fame stemmed in large part due to her marriage
Steve Harvey, and their divorce. Although the details of their divorce in 1994
have been kept secret, it is clear that Marcia was expecting their third baby
when everything went downhill. Marcia was divorced in 1993. Marcia had to file
for divorce before the courts following her divorce and Steve Harvey's denial
of payments for child support and alimony.
